Barbed Darts is the Monkey Sub's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City. It increases the pierce of the sub's darts to 3, however, it has no effect when Airburst Darts is purchased.

Strategy

Barbed Darts gives Sub its much needed pierce before Airburst Darts and makes the dart homing more functional at hitting spaced out Bloons. However, Barbed Darts is useless on Airburst Darts due to it giving no effect.
