Strategy

edit

Bionic Boomer is a solid starter tower that can last until Ceramic Bloon appear, and is a worthwhile upgrade to unlock early in a city. It has decent attack speed and great pierce, which is suited especially well around curves. It is more consistent against spaced out Bloons and fast Bloons such as Yellows and Pinks compared to Glaive Ricochet.

As a starting tower, having a base Spike Factory at the back can be helpful for catching leaks and Camo Bloons. It falls off once Ceramics appear due to its high pierce compared to its speed, so using ceramic crackers like base Bloonchippers or extending the strong defense with Bloonjitsu with Distraction to blow back ceramics becomes necessary. Against early MOABs, the player can also opt to purchase Turbo Charge to eliminate them if they become a problem.

Crosspaths are important, as Glaive Thrower gives a substantial speed and pierce boost and should always be crosspathed.
