Bloon Liquefier is far too expensive for its purpose, even in Jungle Terrain where it is favored, and has almost no pierce nor enough attack speed needed to handle the large swarms of ceramics that come out of groups of BFBs or ZOMGs. It becomes slightly better on the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, where a Monkey Fort can trigger the sub-projectile duplication glitch to double its pierce, but it still often gets overwhelmed quickly.
In both versions, Bloon Liquefier is the most expensive Glue Gunner, being the main source for Temple Of The Monkey God's Glue Gunner sacrifices. Due to its high cost, a player only needs two of them to get max sacrifice bonuses.
