Bloon Strike bypasses Defenders, Hero Protection, Adora's passive, and Mountain Obyn’s Brambles to damage the opponent directly and instantly. This can be used in situations when the opponent is very low on Health and is relying on Defenders to protect themselves, and you cannot feasibly use 0-delay Bloons (mainly from Druid of Peace).
Some players may add Bloon Strike in aggro decks because of this, however its low damage for the cost makes it difficult to effectively use well without it being a brick in your hand or ineffective in general.
Corvus Academy Of Arts will block damage from Bloon Strike, which can be bad or good for the user depending on if they want the Corvus Academy to not consume more important Bloons.
MOAB Strike, despite being over double the cost, usually is better for decks like Burn decks due to its better damage in a single card. MOAB Strike also fully benefits from Amelia’s Act Of Power.
