Even More Tacks is a PrimaryMonkeycard in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 6.0. It is a temporarydefender that gains 1 ammo for every 2 Gold spent to place it (rounded down). Its cost is equal to the player's current Gold in hand and when selected by a Pick card (Nature's Clarity will create shield equal to that value). Playing it for free via Monkey Summons will count as if no Gold was spent. Stealing this Monkey (via Expert Negotiator) does not re-trigger its special effect. It cannot manually attack Bloons.
The card artwork depicts a monkey carrying an opened crate of tacks near an Even More Tacks, located inside warehouse.
Without any Monkey removals (e.g. Shrink) or ammo removals (e.g. Whoops, Ceasefire), Even More Tacks can be very effective against 0-delay Bloons with enough ammo. Its only disadvantage is that it cannot manually attack Bloons.
With 20 Gold spent, it has 11 ammo, essentially up to 440 damage if it uses all ammo.
Combining a high ammo Even More Tacks with buffs such as Gwendolin’s Heat It Up or Zee Jay’s Rad Enhancements can make it deal absurd damage. Keep in mind though that Even More Tacks can be removed by cards like Return to Sender before it gets a chance to attack with buffed stats.
Favored Trade can be used on Even More Tacks to get the maximum possible refund of 10 Gold when removing a 20 gold Even More Tacks. This can be used for OTK decks to gain as much money as a Quincy Action Figure without having to spend gold on placing and replacing it.
This card originally gained 1 ammo per 1 Gold spent, but it was changed to 1 ammo per 2 Gold spent before the update released due to feedback from community playtesters.[1] The original amount was displayed in the update video.[2]
During Version 6.2 playtests, Even More Tacks was proposed to be buffed on the basis that it became somewhat underpowered after the Version 6.0 playtests,[3] and the resulting damage buff alongside now counting as Gold cost after placement was praised for opening up Favored Trade synergy.[3][4]
