Shinobi Tactics Ninja is a Magic Monkey card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 6.0. It is a temporary Monkey that detects Camo Bloons, and grants +5 ATK to all other friendly Ninja Monkeys every time it attacks a Bloon.
The card artwork portrays a Shinobi Tactics Ninja and two ordinary Ninja Monkeys standing on tree branches in a forest.
Tips

- Shinobi Tactics synergizes very well with all Ninjas, especially with each other and the base Ninja Monkey. However, because of its Temporary status, avoid letting it attack unless it's necessary for survival or until you have suitable buffing targets.
- Notably, Shinobi is tied as the cheapest 3-ammo Monkey alongside Tack Sprayer, making it a great choice with Zee Jay's Rad Enhancements for emergency anti-aggro. It also does the same damage as Tack Sprayer without the latter's Defender bonus.
- Shinobi Ninjas have great synergy with cards that can reload its ammo, as it attacking more allows it to deal even more damage and, more importantly, add much more buffs to other friendly Ninja Monkeys. Ghost Monkey, Stylish Finish, Quick Reload, Return to Sender, and Salvation are all good ways to help Shinobi Tactics attack more than usual.
- Shinobi Tactics Ninja deals a good amount of burst damage, dealing enough to pop a Blooming Bloon without Zee Jay's Passive Awesomeness. Without another Ninja Monkey, it needs more investment against Blooming Bloon if it's buffed by Zee Jay or Amelia.
- Like all Ninjas, Shinobi Tactics have Detect, making them strong against Camo Bloons.
- Although not common, some players may use Bed Time to prevent Shinobi Tactics Ninja from stacking huge amounts of buffs to other Ninjas over multiple turns.

Development
[edit | edit source]This card originally cost 3 Gold, but it was increased to 4 Gold before the update released due to feedback from community playtesters.[1] The original cost was displayed in the update video.[2]
During Version 6.2 playtesting, the Shinobi Tactics Ninja got a slight ATK nerf, due to Ninja strategies being strong in general and the Shinobi Tactics Ninja being a very strong burst of damage (especially as anti-aggro) for its cost, to the point of being better burst damage than Night Vision Sniper for the cost, even without ATK buffs.[3]
