Ghostly Armor is an Exotic Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 6.0. It grants the player's Hero 40 Armor, then removes 40 Armor at the start of the player's next turn.
The card artwork features Ezili with many ghosts surrounding her.
- Ghostly Armor can be used to protect against swarms of Bloons, including an opponent's swarm aggro, Blooming Bloon's Yellows, or the Storm's Pink Bloons. It is suitable for some archetypes, but the general low value of the card vs anything but Aggro makes it a waste of space in a deck if it already is good at dealing with Aggro.
- Ghostly Armor can be used by Aggro decks to protect against damage from opposing Aggro decks.
- The Armor gained from Ghostly Armor protects from all hits of Double Attack or Triple Attack Bloons. Unlike healing effects, it can also protect against surprise damage, such as Pink Bloon; however the opponent will likely just choose to not attack with Pink Bloons the turn Ghostly Armor is up.
- Ghostly Armor also lowers damage from self-inflicted sources such as Ezili's Sacrificial Totem and her Monkey Summons card.
- Ghostly Armor can protect against Mountain Obyn’s Sentinel Bloons if played before popping them. It can also be used late game to nullify a Red Bloon Apopalypse, allowing one extra turn to stall.
- Since Ghostly Armor doesn't reduce damage dealt to Shields, it is useless if the player's Shield blocks all of the damage before their next turn.
This card originally only added 10 Armor, but was increased to 40 before the update released.[1] The original Armor amount was displayed in the update video.[2]
