Glaive Ricochet (misspelled as Glaive Richochet in the Full Playable test) is a PrimaryMonkeycard in Bloons Card Storm. It deals 40 damage to the target Bloon and 10 damage to every Bloon behind it in the opponent's Bloon queue. Only one Glaive Ricochet can be in a deck.
Like MOAB Dominator and The Big One, Glaive Ricochet generally has high damage per turn and is used primarily for dealing large amounts of damage in lategame control. Unlike the other two commonly ran Uniques in control, Glaive Ricochet is worse against single targets than a Super Monkey. Instead, it shines the most when swarms of bloons are on the screen.
Ricochet does 80 damage per turn against one bloon. However, for each bloon on screen, it will deal 20 more damage per turn, dealing upwards of 220 damage per turn without any buff.
It's often best to target the first bloon, to maximize damage from behind bloons. However, if the first bloon has much less than 40 HP, targeting the second bloon is better.
The nature of this attack makes the Ricochet susceptible to Bloons with On Damage effects. Attacking behind the Bloons may help mitigate this.
Growth Gas Bloon will counter Ricochet's very low individual damage to groups of Bloons. One Growth Gas Bloon simply neutralizes the Ricochet effect, while two of them makes the situation worse, especially when all other Bloons are Armored.
Weakening Gas Bloon will lower the ATK of the initial hit, but not the back hits.
Stun Gas Bloon is a strong direct counter against Glaive Ricochet if there's no other Bloons behind. Use a board clear or Blade Maelstrom (its passive is immune to stuns) to get around the stuns.
The flavor text is a reference to the song You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by English pop band Dead or Alive. The first line of the chorus is: You spin me right round, baby, right round.
