Sun Temple is a MagicMonkeycard in Bloons Card Storm. When played, it removes all other Monkeys on the player's side and increases its ATK by 25 for each Monkey removed. If this card replaces a Monkey by being played on its space, that Monkey also counts as sacrificed. If an Expert Negotiator successfully transfers this card to the opponent's side, triggering its On Play effect again, the sacrifices on the opponent's side further increase its ATK.
The Sun Temple will remove all monkeys on the player's side, so be certain that removing those monkeys in favor of a Temple is beneficial. Overwhelming a max sacrifice Temple is difficult because it can deal upwards of 675 damage per turn.
The player using Expert Negotiator will sacrifice their own side upon stealing the Sun Temple, which will stack even more ATK for the temple on top of the opponent's sacrifices.
If the deck lacks any removal option, then the next best option of countering the Sun Temple is deploying bloons in a way where the Sun Temple will eventually only have one ammo if they defend. This will prevent it from reloading, letting the player overrun the opponent with bloons with 1 delay without the Sun Temple popping more than one bloon, assuming that the Sun Temple player lacks sufficient alternative defenses for the impending swarm.
Another viable option at countering the Sun Temple without removing it is to play Buddy Bloon, since the Sun Temple usually has the highest ATK out of all monkeys. This also enables the removal of the Sun Temple using Bed Time.
The Sun Temple also cannot defend bloons with 0 delay, so Hastening Bloon, Quick Ready, and Pink Bloons can still punish a Sun Temple if the player lacks sufficient healing, Defenders, shield, or Adora's passive.
Among all of the Heroes, the Temple works best with Obyn Greenfoot. He has multiple ways to generate lots of shield, especially the Nature's Clarity card which gives him excessive amounts of shield if lucky enough to draw out the Temple.
Cheap expendable Monkeys such as Barrel of Monkeys or Obyn's Wolves may work well for sacrifices to acquire max ATK gains. Be sure to have all five Monkeys on your side before playing the Sun Temple so it gets +125 ATK.
Sun Temple is an awful card to draw early in a game, as it will clog your hand and be very difficult to play.
Sun Temple can be used in a pinch as an extremely high burst damaging monkey even if it is removed.
When Expert Negotiator is used, the Sun Temple no longer copies the attack power gained from the original sacrifice, instead it gains power equivalent with the amount of monkeys sacrificed on the side of the Expert Negotiator user (bug fix)
