Temple Of The Monkey God (parsed Temple of the Monkey God in the Flash releases) is the Super Monkey's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It sacrifices all towers within the Super Monkey's range to enhance the attacks of the Temple, with more money spent and tower types being the main factors. When attempting to purchase the upgrade, a popup will appear prompting confirmation that the player wishes to sacrifice nearby towers. The Temple also has natural Camo detection.
The Temple can also be enhanced with the Dark Temple Idol to transform into the Temple of the Vengeful Monkey, which unlocks an Activated Ability that temporarily doubles its attack speed and pierce, increases its range by 50%, and causes it to shoot two beams at a time instead of one on the multiplatform version. On the Flash version, this is merely a cosmetic difference; no stat changes are applied when the player owns the Dark Temple Idol.

Temple is a must-have for maximizing rounds in Contested Territory. In the Flash version, it struggles against DDTs without slowdowns like Sabotage Supply Lines. In the mobile version, make sure to use the Dark Temple ability (if owning the Dark Temple Idol) during tough formations such as dense ZOMGs, and have High Energy Beacon to minimize that ability's cooldown.
Outside of Contested Territory, the Temple is too expensive to be affordable in normal tile captures, and its DPS and setup required in Boss battles is generally not worth its less cost-efficient single-target DPS.
