In the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, it is extremely powerful because of its global slow to blimps including Bosses. It should be used in any Boss event going into Tiers 15 and higher as well as Contested Territory. Its permanence on blimps is better than Sabotage Supply Lines in most cases but both can be combined for additional slowdown. In Boss events, the player should get the upgrade as soon as possible while using Ice Shards to defend against Bloon groups. AZ can be bought and sold again to keep reusing one ability, or many can be placed under Energy Beacon.
In the Flash version of Bloons Monkey City, it is practically useless because of its inability to slow blimps.
