Ocean Obyn (known as Ocean Guardian in Bloons TD 6) is an alternate form of Obyn Greenfoot who debuted in Bloons TD 6. He possesses powers of nature relating to the ocean, such as summoning shark spirits, coral, waves of water, and krackens. He is somewhat similar to a Mermonkey, though he seems to be unrelated to them.

Rogue Legends party  2-0-0 Mermonkey
 2-0-0 Beast Handler
Introduced Version 10.0

Ocean Guardian is a Hero Skin of Obyn Greenfoot introduced to Bloons TD 6 in version 10.0. He costs Monkey Money 2,500 to unlock.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

For Rogue Legends, Ocean Guardian has a very water-focused starting party. The free lakes are helpful for increasing Mermonkey range and placement of Beast Handler's fish.

Currently, Ocean Guardian does not have any notable quality-of-life benefits.

Ocean Obyn is a Hero Alt of Obyn Greenfoot in Bloons TD Battles 2. He has similar mechanics to Obyn, but he is placeable on water and generally focuses more on buffing all Magic towers instead of just Druids.

Other appearances

In Bloons Pop!, Ocean Obyn is a Scene item in Surf's Up named Surfing Obyn.

Physical appearance

[edit | edit source]

Ocean Obyn has a similar physique to Obyn Greenfoot, but with cyan skin and fur, red eyes, and antlers made of coral instead of branches. He wears a towel on his waist and rope wrapped around his wrists, and he ties his hair into a bun. He has blue moko tattoos on his chin and forehead that incorporates a koru motif.

  • At level 3, starfish attach to his arms and barnacles attach to the sides of his head.
  • At level 10, he wears a turban snail shell on his head as a helmet, with holes for his coral antlers.
  • At level 20, sea urchins and coral start growing out of his helmet.
  • Obyn's alternate skins were the result of the Sun God bestowing a new status as guardian of the ocean/mountains.[1]
  • Ocean Obyn was crucial to recruiting the Mermonkeys to fight the Bloons, being one of the few monkeys to have visited Monklantis.[2]
