Toxic Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. If it is popped by a Monkey (either by an attack or a damaging effect), that Monkey is removed from play. It does not trigger if popped by lingering effects, like On Fire and Acid Pools, even if they were caused by a Monkey.
Tips
[edit | edit source]This section was last updated for: version 6.2
- Toxic Bloon is an unreliable Monkey removal. Compared to Power-based Monkey removals, Toxic Bloon with its 1 charge is mostly a waste of space in the deck, giving very little resources and opponent pressure. However, it can punish Monkeys with random attacks, especially Arcane Master and The Big One, as they have no control over which Bloon they hit.
- Heroes and Powers aren't affected by Toxic Bloon. Quincy and Obyn Greenfoot are reliable ways to do the final pop without Toxic Bloon's triggered effect, and an active Adora passive will break apart a leaking Toxic Bloon.
- If there are no attacks available besides Monkeys, use the Monkeys to deal enough damage such that the Toxic Bloon does not get popped by one of them before it leaks, unless you are going to replace the Monkey you are dealing the final pop with anyway (such as with Expert Negotiator).
- If there's many Bloons mixed with Toxic Bloons and Super Monkey Storm is unavailable, Thunder Druid can be played, and then it can directly attack Toxic Bloon to remove itself.
- Low cost Monkeys don’t matter as much if they are removed by Toxic Bloon. For example, removing one Monkey from Barrel of Monkeys doesn’t matter in almost any circumstance.
- Note that Defenders will attack a leaking Toxic Bloon if they have remaining ammo; it's recommended to use up its ammo on other Bloons.
