Fusty loves spreading cheer to other Ice Monkeys. Frozen Bloons are no problem while he's around. Cost $900 XP curve ×1.5 (type 1) Roles Defender Supporter Difficulty 3/5 Hero Alt of Pat Fusty Introduced Version 1.7

Fusty the Snowman is a Hero Alt of Pat Fusty in Bloons TD Battles 2, introduced in version 1.7. He costs  5,000 Monkey Money and 40,000 Pat Fusty Hero Points to unlock.

Fusty attacks by slamming Bloons within his range with his fists, dealing damage in an area of effect around the target, and he does more damage to Ceramic Bloons. He has short range and cannot detect Camo Bloons. He can be placed on both land and water. As he levels up, his range, damage, and attack speed increase, he does more damage to Ceramic Bloons and MOAB-Class Bloons, his slams freeze Bloons briefly, and he unlocks additional attacks and methods of buffing other towers, especially Ice Monkeys. Compared to Pat Fusty, he focuses more on freeze effects and buffing Ice Monkeys than buffing Primary towers.

• Starting at level 2, he allows all towers that deal sharp-type damage to damage frozen Bloons.
• Starting at level 5, he periodically does a slap instead of a slam, which knocks Bloons back and generate ice shards on frozen Bloons instead of damaging in an area.
• Starting at level 6, his slams freeze Bloons for a short time. At higher levels, he can freeze MOAB-Class Bloons briefly.
• Starting at level 9, he allows all Ice Monkeys to damage White Bloons and Zebra Bloons.
• He has two Activated Abilities:
  • Chilling Cheer (level 3) — Increases the damage and attack speed of himself and nearby Ice Monkeys, and allows them to to damage White Bloons and Zebra Bloons, for a short time. At higher levels, he also allows Ice Monkeys to damage MOAB-Class Bloons, allows Arctic Wind to slow MOAB-Class Bloons, and buffs damage and attack speed more.
  • Crushing Ice (level 10) — Grabs the strongest non-BAD MOAB-Class Bloon nearby and crushes it, destroying its outer layer and producing a cloud of snow that freezes nearby Bloons, which takes a few seconds and stops him from attacking or using Chilling Cheer. It also slows all nearby Bloons for a short time. At level 20, he can grab six MOAB-Class Bloons at once, takes less time to crush them, slows Bloons more while crushing them, and generates a bigger snow cloud that freezes for longer and also deals damage.

Mechanics

Slam attack

Fusty the Snowman's basic attack uses his fists to slam a target Bloon within range every 1.1 seconds, which generates area of effect around the target. He alternates between using his left and right fists, which is purely visual.

The slam deals 3 unstoppable-type damage to the target and +2 damage if it is a Ceramic Bloon, and can only hit the target. The area of effect deals 2 unstoppable-type damage, +2 to Ceramic Bloons, and can hit up to 8 Bloons, including the target. The attack cannot target or hit Camo Bloons.

Levels

2	AoE radius increases from 10 units to 15 units.
4	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.9 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by roughly 22.2%.
6	AoE radius increases to 22 units. Both the slam and the AoE now freeze non-MOAB-Class Bloons hit for 0.7 seconds, which can affect White Bloons and Zebra Bloons and soaks through all layers.
7	Slam damage increases to 4. AoE damage increases to 3. AoE pierce increases to 12.
8	Range increases from 24 units to 27 units.
9	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.75 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by 20%.
11	Slam damage increases to 6. AoE damage increases to 5.
12	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.65 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by roughly 15.4%.
13	Both the slam and the AoE now freeze regular Bloons for 2 seconds and MOAB-Class Bloons for 0.3 seconds.
16	Range increases to 29 units. Both the slam and the AoE now deal +5 damage to Ceramic Bloons and +5 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons (except DDTs).
17	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.4 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by roughly 62.5%.
18	AoE pierce increases to 22.
19	Slam damage increases to 16. AoE damage increases to 15.

Slap attack

Starting at level 5, Fusty does a backhand slap instead of a slam on every fifth attack. The slap works similarly to a slam, dealing 3 unstoppable-type damage to the target and +2 damage if it is a Ceramic, but its area of effect does not deal damage, instead inflicting knockback and causing frozen non-MOAB-Class Bloons to emit six ice shards, and it can hit up to 6 Bloons. The knockback causes Bloons to move backwards at twice their speed for 1 second (meaning frozen Bloons do not move backwards at all), but it cannot knock back BFBs or above. The ice shards each deal 1 shatter-type damage and are produced from all frozen Bloons even if they are not popped.

Frozen bloon debuff

Starting at level 2, Fusty the Snowman allows all frozen Bloons to take damage from attacks that deal sharp-type damage. This does not allow attacks that ignore frozen Bloons entirely (such as Ice Monkeys without Re-Freeze) to damage frozen Bloons.

White-popping buff

Starting at level 9, Fusty the Snowman provides a global buff that allows all Ice Monkeys to damage and freeze White Bloons and Zebra Bloons. It does not affect Cold Sentries.

Abilities

Chilling Cheer

Chilling Cheer is unlocked at level 3. It applies a buff to Fusty and all Ice Monkeys within 60 distance units of him for 7 seconds. It grants +1 damage, reduces attack cooldowns by 20% (effectively increasing attack speed by 25%), and allows Ice Monkeys to damage and freeze White Bloons and Zebra Bloons (which becomes redundant starting at level 9). It has a 50-second cooldown and starts with a 12-second cooldown.

8	Now allows Ice Monkeys to target and damage MOAB-Class Bloons (but not inflict effects on them), dealing 3× damage after the additive damage buff, and allows Arctic Wind's slowing aura to slow MOAB-Class Bloons by 33%.
14	Radius increases to 100 units. Now grants +3 damage (before the MOAB-Class damage multiplier) and reduces attack cooldowns by 50% (effectively doubling attack speed). Duration increases to 10 seconds.

Crushing Ice

Crushing Ice is unlocked at level 10. It causes Fusty to grab the strongest MOAB-Class Bloon within 35 distance units and crush its outer layer, which takes 5 seconds. While being crushed, the target Bloon is untargetable by all towers, immune to all damage, and unable to collide with any projectiles. He cannot grab BADs and requires a Camo detection buff to grab DDTs. Additionally, for 5.5 seconds after activation, he cannot attack or use Rallying Roar, and he gains an Arctic Wind-like effect that slows all non-BAD Bloons within a 50-unit radius by 60%. Once crushed, the Bloon bursts into a cloud of snow that freezes all regular Bloons within a 50-unit radius for 4 seconds, or non-BAD MOAB-Class Bloons for 2 seconds. It has a 30-second cooldown and no initial cooldown.

At level 20, it grabs the six strongest Bloons within range instead of one, takes 1.8 seconds to squeeze instead of 5 seconds, gains Arctic Wind and stops Pat from attacking or using Rallying Roar for 2 seconds, and slows nearby Bloons for the duration by 80% instead of 60%. Additionally, the snow cloud now deals 50 damage, +50 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons, has a radius of 90 instead of 50, and slows regular Bloons for 10 seconds and MOAB-Class Bloons for 5 seconds.

11	Attack pops more layers.
12	Increased attack speed.
13	Attack freezes bloons for longer and can freeze MOAB class bloons very briefly.
14	Chilling Cheer increased radius and duration and increased damage and attack speed of ice monkeys.
15	Slap attack can affect more bloons.
