Ezili Voodoo Monkey
Ezili is a wielder of dark arts and manipulator of Bloons. Beware. Cost $600 XP curve ×1.5 (type 1) Roles Controller Supporter Difficulty 4/5 Hero Alts Smudge Catt Ezili Introduced Version 1.5

Ezili is a Hero in Bloons TD Battles 2, introduced in version 1.5. She costs  5,000 Monkey Money to unlock.

Ezili's basic attack places a curse on a target Bloon that inflicts damage over time on it and deals splash damage around it. She cannot damage Purple Bloons, but she can detect Camo Bloons. As she levels up, her attack speed, pierce, and damage increase, especially to MOAB-Class Bloons, her curses last longer and deal damage faster, and she unlocks methods of buffing towers (especially Wizard Monkeys) and debuffing Bloons.

• Starting at level 2, she grants Wizard Monkeys +2 pierce.
• Starting at level 9, her curses remove Bloon Mods from all Bloons except Purple Bloons and MOAB-Class Bloons.
• Starting at level 11, she grants undead Bloons from Necromancers and the Prince of Darkness 50% more pierce.
• She has three Activated Abilities:
  • Heartstopper (level 3) — Prevents Regrow Bloons from regenerating and allows all attacks to damage Purple Bloons for a short time. At higher levels, it allows all attacks to damage all Bloon types.
  • Sacrificial Totem (level 7) — Consumes 10 lives to place a temporary sub-tower that buffs the pierce, attack speed, range, and projectile speed of nearby towers, and grants them Camo detection. Wizard Monkeys gain more pierce and attack speed. Starting at level 16, it lasts longer and only costs 1 life.
  • MOAB Hex (level 10) — Places a hex on a non-BAD MOAB-Class Bloon that rapidly damages it for a short time. If the target pops while cursed, it spawns no children and the curse jumps to the next Bloon available. At level 20, it deals damage faster and can target BADs.

Mechanics

Curse

Ezili attacks every 1.2 seconds with a curse that deals damage to the target, applies a damage over time effect to the target, and generates an area of effect projectile that deals damage to up to 5 nearby Bloons (but it cannot hit the same Bloon as the curse). Each curse collides with the target instantly without any travel time and can only hit one Bloon, and is unaffected by pierce buffs, but the area of effect's pierce can be buffed. This attack can target and hit Camo Bloons and Bloons behind line of sight blockers, and Ezili has Camo Prioritization.

Both the curse and the area of effect deal 1 plasma-type damage, and neither are affected by damage buffs. The damage over time effect deals 1 plasma-type damage to the target every 2.5 seconds for 2.5 seconds; if re-applied to the target, the duration refreshes, but not the interval.

Levels

Level	Effect
2	Attack range increases from 40 units to 43 units.
4	AoE now inflicts the DoT effect on all Bloons it hits.
5	Attack cooldown reduces to 1 second, effectively increasing attack speed by 20%.
6	DoT now deals damage every 1.8 seconds and lasts for 5.4 seconds.
8	Both the curse and AoE now deal +19 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons. DoT now deals 2 damage per tick and +28 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons.
9	Both the curse and AoE now remove Camo, Regrow, and Fortified properties from non-MOAB-Class Bloons. She cannot strip properties from Purple Bloons unless granted the ability to damage them.
11	Attack range increases to 45 units.
12	Curse and AoE damage to MOAB-Class increases to +29.
13	AoE pierce increases to 15. AoE radius increases from 8 units to 11 units.
14	DoT Now deals damage every 1 second and lasts for 4 seconds.
15	Attack range increases to 47 units. DoT duration increases to 6 seconds.
17	AoE pierce increases to 25. AoE radius increases to 13 units.
18	Attack cooldown reduces to 0.8 seconds, effectively increasing attack speed by 25%.
19	DoT base damage increases to 3.
20	Curse and AoE damage to MOAB-Class increases to +49.

Wizard Monkey buffs

• Starting at level 2, Ezili grants +2 pierce to all Wizard Monkeys within her range.
• Starting at level 11, Ezili grants 50% more pierce to undead Bloons from Necromancers and the Prince of Darkness.

Abilities

Heartstopper

Heartstopper is unlocked at level 3. It causes all Regrow Bloons to stop regenerating and allows all attacks ignore Purple Bloon immunities for 10 seconds. It applies to Bloons spawned after its activation and does not end if Ezili is sold. It has a 45-second cooldown and no initial cooldown.

Starting at level 12, it allows all attacks to ignore all Bloon immunities and its duration increases to 15 seconds.

Sacrificial Totem

Sacrificial Totem is unlocked at level 7. It consumes 10 lives to place a totem sub-tower at a selected point within Ezili's range (defaulting to the closest point on the track, or a point to the right of Ezili if the track is not within range), which lasts for 20 seconds. It cannot be activated if it would cause the player to run out of lives, and activating it does not activate Activated Abilities that trigger on life loss (such as Bomb Blitz or Elite Defender). It has a 90-second cooldown and no initial cooldown. At level 16, the totem's lifespan increases to 40 seconds and it only consumes 1 life to use.

The totem applies the following buffs to all towers within its range of 78 units:

• +1 pierce
• +20% range
• -15% attack cooldown (effectively increasing attack speed by 17.6%)
• +25% projectile speed
• Camo detection

Additionally, Wizard Monkeys exclusively gain the following buffs:

• +1 pierce (+2 total)
• -20% attack cooldown (-32% total, effectively increasing attack speed by ~47%)

MOAB Hex

MOAB Hex is unlocked at level 10. It targets one non-BAD MOAB-Class Bloon on-screen according to Ezili's current targeting option and places a hex effect on it. It deals plasma-type damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum health (capped at 7,500 damage), +1 flat damage, every second for 8.5 seconds. If the target pops while hexed, it spawns no children. If the target pops or escapes before the duration ends and there is at least one targetable Bloon on-screen, the hex jumps to another targetable Bloon according to Ezili's targeting option. Multiple hexes can stack their effects on the same Bloon. This ability cannot be activated if there is no targetable Bloon on-screen. It has a 60-second cooldown and no initial cooldown.

At level 20, the hex can target BADs, deals 8% damage +1 damage per tick, and its cooldown is reduced to 45 seconds.

7	Sacrificial Totem: A totem that gives Camo detection, extra pierce, attack range, attack speed, and projectile speed to nearby Monkeys and even more pierce and speed to nearby Wizards. Drains 10 lives.
8	Ezili's attack does far more damage to MOAB class Bloons.
9	Ezili's attack strips off Camo, Regrow and Fortified properties from non-MOAB class Bloons.
10	MOAB Hex: places a curse on a MOAB class Bloon other than the BAD, it takes huge damage every second for 8.5 seconds.
11	Increased attack range. Increases pierce of the reanimated Bloons from the Wizard Monkey's Necromancer upgrade by 50%.
12	Heartstopper lasts longer and allows all damage types to pop all bloons. Deals increased damage to MOABs.
13	Base attack has a larger splash radius and increased pierce.
14	Faster damage over time.
15	Increased range. Damage over time lasts longer.
16	Sacrificial Totem lasts longer and costs only 1 life to use.
17	Base attack has a larger splash radius and increased pierce.
18	Increased attack speed.
19	Each damage tick from base attack pops 3 layers!
20	MOAB Hex works faster and can destroy BAD Bloons.
