Strategy

Cripple MOAB is best used in Contested Territory as its high price prevents it from being used in other gamemodes without excess farming. Cripple MOAB can easily keep ZOMGs stalled for a long time allowing other towers to pop them easily. In Contested Territory, ZOMGs gain even more HP and speed every round, so stalling is essential. It is best to keep Cripple MOAB on strong targeting but when spamming multiple Cripple MOABs keep some on close targeting to spread out the stuns.

This upgrade is useless against Boss Bloons due to the inability to stun them, and on Tiles it is very expensive to use outside of Heavy Forest Terrain, but can provide a niche in dealing with ZOMGs when a defense is more reliant on grouped popping power, such as with MOAB Maulers.

Upgrade to Faster Firing for a more consistent stun, and Night Vision Goggles if the objective is to stun DDTs. On the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, due to snipers attacking the same target when set to the same targeting priority, it can be a good idea to intentionally not buy Faster Firing or avoid giving it Jungle Drums to desync the attacks so they apply their stuns at different times.
