Silas is a Hero to be introduced in version 50.0.
He is an Ice Monkey capable of using magic to attack Bloons and has great synergy with them. He is placeable on both land and water and freezes water around him, as well as creating a cold aura that reduces the speed of Bloon in his radius, much like Arctic Wind. His main attack covers Bloons in rime, or freezes Bloons that are already rimed, and causes them to take extra damage from other sources.
As he levels up, he provides a passive buff to other Ice Monkeys which allows them to create Ice Fragments while attacking which behave in a similar way to his main attack. He also can create Ice Walls over the track that freezes Bloons that make contact with them, reduces the resistance of White and Zebra Bloons to ice attacks and increases its own XP by having Ice Monkeys nearby, and allows the player to have an additional Tier 5 Ice Monkey, in a similar way on how 
Master Double Cross works, but with any of the three paths.

Frostbite
Frostbite unlocks Level 3. When the ability is active, Silas will detonate Frozen Bloons it targets dealing damage which increases with the amount of time remaining of the Frozen status.
Frozen Cascade
Frozen Cascade unlocks at Level 7. This ability creates a series of explosions around Silas and the 10 nearest Ice Monkeys which freezes Bloons caught in the explosion radius and deals extra damage to already frozen targets.
Frozen Burial
Frozen Burial unlocks at Level 10. It Freezes all Bloons on the map and deals extra damage to already frozen target and leaves Ice Walls all over the map.
Levels

| 2 | Ice Monkeys in radius create orbiting Ice Shard projectiles when they attack. |
| 3 | Frostbite ability: Silas can hit all Bloons while active. When hitting frozen Bloons, target takes extra damage based on remaining freeze time. |
| 4 | Ice Walls form on the track near Silas. Ice Walls push back and freeze Bloons. MOABs are frozen for less time. |
| 5 | White Bloons are less resistant to cold attacks. Monkeys that freeze Bloons freeze them for longer. |
| 6 | Silas can attack Bloons in the range of Ice Monkeys anywhere. |
| 7 | Frozen Cascade ability: Creates a shattering blast of ice around Silas then other Ice Monkeys spreading out from Silas. Frozen Bloons take extra damage from ability. |
| 8 | Buffs the ranges of all Ice Monkeys & grants more Hero XP for each Tier 3 Ice Monkey. |
| 9 | Frozen Bloons damaged during Frostbite take more damage. Ice Shards damage & pierce increased. |
| 10 | Frozen Burial ability: Immediately freezes and damages all Bloons, dealing far more damage to already frozen Bloons. Then fills the track with Ice Walls. |
| 11 | Slowing aura around Silas slows Bloons more, and can slow MOABs. |
| 12 | Ice Walls can hit more Bloons and last longer. Rimed and frozen Bloons take more damage from main attack. |
| 13 | Ice Monkey Tier 5's[sic] are cheaper, and you can build a 4th Tier 5 of any path. White Bloons lose all resistance to cold attacks. |
| 14 | Ice Monkeys create more orbiting Ice Shards when they attack. |
| 15 | Frozen Bloons take more damage from all abilities. Frostbite lasts longer, and Frozen Cascade and Frozen Burial have shorter cooldowns. |
| 16 | Main attack does more area damage to rimed and frozen Bloons, and orbiting Ice Shards do more damage to frozen Bloons. |
| 17 | Tier 3 Ice Monkeys create even more Ice Shards. |

Announcement
Silas was announced in the update notes for version 49.0, though it revealed little about him other than that he is a "Vanilla Ice Ice Hero".
TikTok teasers
Ninja Kiwi released multiple short teaser videos on their TikTok page where they attempt to conduct an interview with Silas, who hides in the company office's refrigerator before running off into the mountains, with the final video showing his unlock splash screen. These videos also revealed the gift codes SILAS and ICEBLOCK.
