Rosalia (Lia for short) is a monkey character in Bloons TD 6. She is a tinkerer who runs her workshop and creates machines that run on orange juice.

Gameplay

Rosalia is a Hero introduced in version 43.0. She uses a jetpack that allows her to be repositioned to anywhere within range of her workshop. She wields a laser gun that fires lasers at Bloons and can switch to a grenade launcher that launches explosives that bounce around, exploding multiple times. She has several unique properties, such as occasionally firing enhanced special attacks, providing discounts to Monkey Aces and Heli Pilots, and gaining attack speed based on how many Bloons are within her range.

General information

Appearance

Rosalia is a short-statured monkey with orange-brown fur, light tan skin and brown eyes, with somewhat messy orange hair tied in twin buns and decorated with what seems to be a leaf pin. She wears a light grey tank top depicting a yellow electricity symbol, a black work suit with yellow pant cuffs tied around her waist, and light brown work shoes. She flies around in a jetpack consisting of twin thrusters that spout blue flame, attached to her via a pair of brown straps. In Bloons TD 6, her appearance changes as she levels up:

• At level 2, she gains a pair of fingerless black gloves.
• At level 5, she gains a pair of blue straps attached to her suit. Her laser gun also gains an additional ring on its muzzle.
• At level 7, she gains a clear protective visor, with her jetpack gaining rounded tails for mobility.
• At level 13, she wears her work suit properly, her buns are spikier, and she gains some buckles around her suit straps.
• At level 20, her visor is recolored a transparent pink, her buns are much larger and spikier, her jetpack gains additional dark pink highlights, her suit straps are changed to pink, and her jetpack straps are replaced with a metal attachment that spans her torso and has a bright blue diamond-shaped emblem in the middle.

Personality and traits

Rosalia is very energetic and excitable, with several of her voice lines being loud and/or quick. She has a strong affinity towards orange juice, oranges in general, and the color orange as a whole, with her workshop (as seen in the map Tinkerton) having crates of orange juice and a few orange trees with robots dedicated to picking oranges. She has a sizable amount of voice lines in Brazilian Portuguese and has been referred to as being Brazilian.

• Rosalia is able to reduce the cost of The Anti-Bloon by turning it into a remote-controlled machine that runs on orange juice, removing the need for a monkey operator.
• She has suggested to Captain Churchill that there are "at least 91,734 different upgrades" she could apply to his tank, but he has yet to let her do so.
• The highest speed her jetpack has hit on record is Mach 0.57 (437.6 miles per hour) as a result of a collaboration with Glue Gunners and Wizard Monkeys.
• Her inventions are all powered by a "special blend" of orange juice.
• Rosalia and Etienne think very highly of each other.
• It has been implied that her first forty-two jetpacks have suffered malfunctions in some way.
• She began her Bloon-fighting career as an Engineer Monkey working in Workshop, before being noticed for her skill and innovation and being given Hero training and her own lab.
• She once tested an AI assistant co-created with Etienne called L.E.M.O.N. (Logistics Energy Machinery Operation Network), but ultimately decided she preferred full control over her systems.
• She has an extensive orchard with multiple varieties of orange.
• She has been observed at least once pouring orange juice over banana bread.
• She intentionally lured the Bloons to her workshop to test out gadgets on them.
• She prefers Titanfall over Call of Duty, due to the former's movement mechanics.
• She is a longtime Pokémon player. Her favorite Pokémon are any of the orange ones.
• Rosalia has purchased several knick-knacks from Geraldo.
• She isn't very good at botany, but still enjoys doing it, building a custom atmospheric water generator attached to a tree to keep her garden watered. Obyn Greenfoot helps her get better.
• Rosalia loves VTOL aircrafts, especially Harrier Jump Jets.
