The Alchemist Monkey is a Magic Monkey card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. When it attacks, it summons an Acid Pool on the space the target Bloon occupies.

• The Acid Pools the Alchemist creates deal 30 damage, similar to fire damage. They linger indefinitely on the space they are thrown on, until a Bloon takes damage from a puddle twice, in which then the puddle disappears from the track.

• The Acid Pools lingering for at minimum two turns means this monkey effectively has 75 damage per turn after attacking twice. This makes it an incredibly powerful early game monkey, making it easy to use in almost any kind of deck.

• The lingering effect of the Acid Pools also makes it strong against OTK, as the 30 damage from the Acid Pools (If placed in the frontmost spot of the track) will hurt the OTKing Bloon. This is one of the few ways to make an OTKing Bloon take damage, even if the opponent has cards like Return To Sender or Ability Ban.
