Unlike Red Bloon Apopalypse which has the goal of clogging the opponent's Bloon queue at the cost of clogging your own, Red Bloon Storm accomplishes virtually nothing and puts the user at a direct disadvantage for 6 gold. Due to the nerf to Red Bloon increasing its delay from 1 to 2, the reds serve little purpose on your side of the board, clog the Storm, and are easily popped with splash damage or other cheap board clearing powers like Spike Storm! or Firestorm.
It still pairs well with Bloon Embiggen, however, spamming Greens and Yellows is more viable in aggro since Reds and Blues got a delay nerf in 3.4.
