Gwen's Choice is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 5.0. It sets the first enemy Bloon On Fire, or deals 100 damage to it if it is already On Fire, then allows the player to pick from three cards. It can only be added to Gwendolin decks.
Tips
- Gwen's Choice opens up potential for Gwendolin to cycle through her deck, combining the ability to pick a wincon in addition to herself having strong anti-tempo cards (e.g. Extreme Heat) and defense.
- Gwen’s Choice is a very strong anti-Aggro card as the high 100 damage when combined with Fireball or It's All On Fire Now allows Gwen to deal massive damage to opposing Bloons for very cheap.
- Gwendolin herself may use this in midrange and tempo to access strong cards sooner as well as defense. The On Fire effect on the first target may also allow her to apply a "mark to death" before Flame Strike or an Extreme Heat.
- Although more than just a conventional Pick card, it's preferred to not use this card until a strong On Fire combo can be done.
- Being limited to the first Bloon makes it more important to burn the first Bloon, or pop the first Bloon in other ways before triggering its effect on the Bloon behind it.
- Gwendolin should use this card in most decks that she makes due to its strong defensive potential combined with being great for cycling through her deck.
