Archer's Instinct is a Power card in Bloons Card Storm. It allows the player to draw three cards and choose one to add to their hand. The other two are sent to the bottom of the deck. The player is allowed to play a two-charge Archer's Instinct if their hand is full, which will overflow to 9 cards at most, but cannot be repeated if already overflowed. It can only be used in Quincy decks.

Tips

  • Archer's Instinct is best used in midrange to draw out potentially strong cards sooner, especially finishers such as Quick Ready and core cards such as The Eternal. The caveat is the exclusivity to Quincy.
  • Compared to other Pick X cards, Archer's Instinct is the cheapest and comes with two charges instead of one, but has no special effect based on the card picked. It's also rarer than Adora's Divination.
    • Compared to Amelia, Quincy has the most possible Pick X via Archer's Instinct, even with Amelia's For My Next Trick and Bubble Time! (up to 30 via three of both cards, vs 36 with three Archer's Instincts).

Update history

  • Buff Charges increased ― 1 → 2
  • Nerf Can no longer be played if the hand is full (undocumented) (bug)
    • Note: Not allowing a two-charge Archer's Instinct to be played when full is intended, one-charge disallowance is not
  • Buff Can now be played when it's at one charge left (bug fix)
