The Leeching Shot Sniper has the same Gold-to-Damage ratio as Sniper Monkey but gives a constant supply of Bloontonium. Its Bloontonium generation has a similar rate to Bloontonium Miner but with 1 round of downtime and requires hitting Bloons. Its damage per shot is better than both Miners but less DPT than the Mine Supervisor.
Like the Miners, Leeching Shot Sniper is a good candidate for maximizing Adora's Bloontonium gains, so she can be powered up for the late-game.
Equipping Leeching Shot Sniper also provides more Bloontonium-generating Monkeys other than the Miners; sacrificing LSS's are less of a downside for Mine Supervisors than on basic Miners (which require multiple Miners to maximize gains).
