Adora is a monkey character introduced in Bloons TD 6. She is devoted to the Sun God and has a special connection to the Sun God that compels her to strike Bloons down.

Gameplay

Bloons TD series

Adora is a Hero in Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2. She casts Divine Bolts that seek out Bloons aggressively and can cast multiple bolts at a time at higher levels. She can sacrifice other towers to generate additional XP and buff herself and nearby Sun Avatars temporarily. In BTD6, she can transform into True Adora by upgrading a Sun Temple into a True Sun God within her range, while in Battles 2, she can merge with a True Sun God to become the True Sun Goddess. She is somewhat expensive and levels up very slowly without sacrifices.

Fateweaver Adora is a Hero Alt of Adora in Battles 2 that focuses on debuffing the opponent and gaining power based on the opponent's power level. She cannot merge with the True Sun God.

Bloons Pop!

Adora is a Hero unlocked by completing level 24. She bounces around the level zapping Bloons with bolts of energy from the Ball of Light above her head and can bounce up from the bottom of the area.

Bloons Card Storm

Adora, High Priestess is a Hero introduced in version 2.0. Her gameplay focuses on Orbs of Light, which can be used offensively and defensively. Her Orbs of Light ability attacks random opposing Bloons with her orbs, her Sun Shield ability consumes Bloontonium to target and attack incoming Bloons with Orbs of Light, and her Ultimate Sacrifice ability sacrifices one of the player's Monkeys to heal her, trigger Orbs of Light, and add a new Orb of Light to her arsenal.

General information

Appearance

Adora has very bright yellow (almost white) fur, light skin, and purple eyes with her bright yellow hair tied in a ponytail with a golden hair tie and headpiece. In Bloons TD 6, Battles 2, and Bloons Pop!, she is depicted as wearing nothing under her white cape with bright orange and red trimming and golden shoulders. In Bloons Card Storm, she wears a white dress with a golden belt under her cape, alongside a longer ponytail. In Bloons TD 6 and Battles 2, her appearance changes as she levels up:

• At level 3, she gains an extra ponytail and her headpiece is more detailed.
• At level 7, she gains an extra ponytail, a red crystal emblem on her headpiece, and a pair of red gloves with gold cuffs.
• At level 10, her pupils disappear, her cape's shoulders are slightly bigger, and two smaller emblems are placed at the sides of her initial headpiece emblem.
• At level 20, she gains two extra ponytails and a set of golden cuffs around her feet, her headpiece resembles a crown, and her gloves become yellow.
• When transformed in the presence of the True Sun God, her eyes emit a bright light, her skin becomes golden, her ponytails are arranged to resemble the sun, she gains a golden halo around her head, and her cuffs become yellow shoes.
• When transformed in the presence of a Vengeful True Sun God, her eyes become completely red, her emblem becomes singular in a hexagonal shape, her halo is more angular, her skin becomes deep purple, her fur becomes light lavender, her cape becomes red with a black trim, and all of her golden attire is changed into shiny black.

In Battles 2, her portraits are slightly different, in that it depicts her Ball(s) of Light around her.

Personality and traits

Unlike most Heroes, Adora is very serious, usually sports a bemused frown (though this has been explained to be due to the Bloons invading her temple), and can get grumpy easily (outright threatening the player if clicked on too much), though it is not a rare occurrence for her to break into a smile, and Ninja Kiwi has described her true personality as a "girly girl" with interests such as My Little Pony and raising flowers. She actively enjoys leaning into a scary persona, however. As a high priestess, she is naturally devoted to the Sun God, often telling Bloons to "embrace the sun" as she pops them.

She also seems to enjoy sunbathing, as demonstrated in certain Battles 2 cosmetics and the Bloons Pop! decoration Sunbathing Adora.

• Blood Sacrifice does not actually involve blood, but was named that way in order to scare the Bloons. It sends monkeys to a temporary solar dimension where they help channel the power of the Sun, mostly in beach chairs. The dimension has been described as similar to a sunny, cloudless beach with infinite refreshments. When leaving the dimension, the affected monkey(s) spawn outside of one of her temples.
• Adora enjoys wearing elaborate costumes for Halloween.
• When complimented, she usually affirms the one giving the compliment that she won't sacrifice them that day.
• She gives Monkeys who know and respect her a "practiced, polite smile" whenever she is called cute or adorable.
• She has a collection of "sparkly rocks", which has been implied to be the biggest general collection out of any of the Heroes'.
• She planned out the structure of her temple with LEGO bricks. She considered building the temple proper out of LEGO bricks to serve as an extra hazard to the Bloons, but remembered that the monkeys needed somewhere to stand.
• She has several additional temples, all of which have apartments for her to stay in during her visits. The Return to Sender card art shows she has a house, however.
• Her room is filled with monkey plushies.
• Her powers only get slightly less powerful at night or during cloudy weather.
• She likes to lead guided meditation.
• If she were allowed to, she would sacrifice a few unspecified Heroes.
• Adora and Quincy dislike spicy food the most out of the Heroes.
• Her favorite dinosaur has been implied to be the Tyrannosaurus rex.
• If Adora were to sacrifice a second Adora, the result would be "two annoyed Adoras".
• She was born with her powers.
• She runs a tabletop RPG campaign with some of her fellow Heroes, which has been going on for a long time.
• The prospect of her bungee jumping is extremely undignified to her.
• She is not approached for autographs often.
• Her morning routine involves waking up alongside the sunrise, starting Pilates and having a healthy breakfast.
• There has been an unspecified incident involving a monkey named Bruno annoying Adora enough to make her mad with dire consequences.
• She is skilled at tennis.
• She doesn't sacrifice Bloons because they have incompatible XP.
• If Adora were a standard tower, she would be Magic-class.
• For Adora, sacrificing a monkey feels like "putting a Berocca directly into [her] mouth".
