Dark Champion is a Magic Monkey card in Bloons Card Storm. It increases the Attack Power of all Defenders on the player's side by 10 during the opponent's turn. Only one Dark Champion can be in the Collection.
The card artwork depicts the Dark Champion standing on a large square platform supported with multiple columns. An aurora gleams in the backdrop, casting a soft glow over the monkey. A crescent moon lights up the starry night sky.
Tips

- Dark Champion is essentially a much rarer Super Monkey that costs 3 more Gold, has +10 ATK, and improves other Defenders. Use it in a deck with Defenders, as going without them just makes an expensive Super Monkey.
- The bonus Defender buff works best on multi-ammoed Defenders such as Elite Defender and Even More Tacks.
- The +10 damage buff allows Elite Defender to pop a Double Ceramic, it allows Blade Maelstrom to pop a Pink Bloon, and generally improves burst damage to help survivability in the late game.
- That buff also allows Elite Defender and Tack Sprayer to two-shot Pinks even when buffed by Dark Castle and Ezili.
- Even More Tacks with this buff can two-shot Pinks when other Bloon buffs aren't present.

Development
[edit | edit source]During the Version 5.2 playtest, Ninja Kiwi proposed a buff to Dark Champion by reducing its Gold cost from 12 to 11 and increasing its ATK from 90 to 100. Community feedback proposed that only its ATK buff was kept, which was approved for the update.
