Banana Research Facility is the Banana Farm's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. Instead of generating bananas, it generates five crates of bananas, each worth $400, for a total of $2,000 per round. (In the Flash version, it instead produces 10 crates per round, each worth $300, for a total of $3,000 per round.) In the mobile version, upgrading a Banana Republic into a Banana Research facility in the middle of a round causes it to produce crates at the same rate as a Banana Republic for the rest of the round.
