Dread Shield is an Exotic Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. It grants 150 Shield to Dreadbloon plus 50 shield per phase (for a total of 200 on Phase 1, 250 on Phase 2, 300 on Phase 3, or 350 on Phase 4). This card is exclusive to Dreadbloon and is not available in the Collection.
Tips

- Dread Shield is not too problematic, as it just means you'll need to deal more damage to Dreadbloon, usually from Bloons or Monkeys. But this card can be a problem in early rounds if wanting to achieve a non-zero score.
- Note that some cards don't trigger their effects if intercepted by a shield, such as Strike Bloon's heal per damage.
- Like all Shields, the Shield is unaffected by Armor; low ATK Monkeys such as Monkey Investigator can deal full damage to Dreadbloon's Shield.
- Shields Down! can neutralize Dreadbloon's shield gain, but is expensive and not worth the exchange in a deck. Dreadbloon will rarely at all use all Dread Shields during a single match.
