Slower Is Harder is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the damage inflicted by all attacks but reduces their projectile speed by 35%. Higher rarity versions of this Artifact increase the damage bonus, but the projectile speed penalty remains the same. The player unlocks the Common variant by default.

This Artifact is a useful damage boost for all Towers with a more powerful effect than the Precision Artifacts / Boosts and the added benefit of not being restricted to a single category of Towers. The projectile speed penalty is negligible in most cases and can be mitigated by using Quickening buffs or lifespan bonuses like Added Preservatives. And of course, the penalty is completely ignored by Towers with attacks that bypass projectile speed like Snipers, Spike Factories or the Quantum Leap Artifact and becomes even less relevant in the late game when MOAB-Class Bloons with their bigger hitboxes are plentiful.

Caution is advised if combined with other Artifacts that reduce the projectile speed like Heightened Perception or Malicious Mauling as their combined effects can make fast Bloons incredible hard to hit. In general there is little reason to not pickup this Artifact when presented.
