Frosted Tips is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the range and pierce of Dart Monkeys, and they will also apply a Permafrost effect, which reduces the speed of Bloons they damage by 50%. The Permafrost affects all layers and has infinite lifespan, but does not affect MOAB-Class Bloons.
Higher rarity versions of the Artifact increase the range and pierce bonus, while the Permafrost effect stays the same. It also adds a 1-1-0 / 2-1-0 / 2-0-0 Dart Monkey to the party.
The player unlocks the Common variant by default.

Frosted Tips is an effective stall strategy for the early game when combined with Spike-o-pult or Juggernaut as they have enough pierce in contrast to the middle or bottom path to handle the Rogue Legends roundset, making it a cheap alternative over Ice Monkeys, Glue Gunners or Enchanted Rebuttal in addition to being more reliable thanks to the bouncing nature of the projectiles and easy Camo detection access via Enhanced Eyesight.
The utility of this Artifact for stalling falls as the campaign progresses and MOAB-Class Bloons become more common, making Maim MOAB, Relentless Glue, MOAB Press, Avenger or Essence Of Vortex better options.
