Homing Projectiles is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It affects the projectiles for a number of towers, changing ones that would normally travel in a straight line to instead home in on Bloons. It applies to Dart Monkeys, Bomb Shooters, Tack Shooters, Super Monkeys, Druids, Engineer Monkeys, and Dartling Gunners and most Heroes. The projectiles will track a new target after being spawned and after colliding with a Bloon, with a targeting range of 2,000 units and can turn at 720°/s. It only has a Legendary version.
Tips
[edit | edit source]| This article or section needs cleanup to improve the way it presents information and/or comply with the style guide. You can help out by editing this article. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Restructure into a bullet point list per the strategy guidelines |
Focus on cross-paths with high pierce like Juggernaut and Blade Shooter to maximize the amount of Bloons the homing projectile can pop at once; the projectiles have a similar level of homing as Monkey Sub darts and can even turn 180 degrees to use their full pierce. Towers that shoot in an arc like Bomb Shooters and Druids also benefit greatly as a lesser amount of their projectiles will miss Bloons. For Heroes, this assists any Hero dependent on non-homing projectiles, making it effective on Captain Churchill to maximize multi-explosions on maps without straight lines.

Should now work properly for Tack Shooters & Buckshot Dartling Gunners. (bug fix)
Now also affects Hero projectiles, except projectiles that already seek targets (Adora, Obyn, Benjamin)
