Absolute Zero is the Ice Monkey's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It grants the Ice Monkey an Activated Ability with a 45 second cooldown that:
- Freezes all non-MOAB-Class Bloons for 4 seconds that last through 2 layers
- Applies permafrost to all bloons (and MOAB-Class bloons
Bloons Monkey City (multiplatform)), slowing them down by 50% for 2 layers

In the mobile version of Bloons Monkey City, it is extremely beneficial in a variety of strategies, because of the global slow to blimps including Bosses, and thus vital in any Boss event going into Tiers 15 and higher as well as Contested Territory on Ice-enabled events.
In the Flash version of Bloons Monkey City, it is not very useful despite its cheap cost, as it only affects Bloons and can block sharp attacks.
