Hero Protection is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm. It negates all damage received from the next hit of a Bloon to hit the player's Hero. For Bloons with the Double Attack effect, only one hit is blocked, so they effectively deal damage equal to their health instead of double. A blue aura surrounds the player's Hero while the effect is active. Only one Hero Protection shield can be active on the same hero.

Although this card's art features Amelia the Amazing, it can be used in any deck.

Tips

• Hero Protection is best used against a Bloon that will deal large amounts of damage to you. Like on the card's art, Large Bloons like a MOAB or ZOMG are a great candidate if not the best since they are hard to chip down. Likewise, Double Bloons like the Double Ceramic Bloon or certain Advanced bloons such as the Bolstered Bloon are also an excellent choice since they are generally an important part of a deck if not a flat out win condition.
• Make sure to destroy all Bloons before the one you want to be tanked by Hero Protection. Any amount of damage will be lowered to 0, even if it's from something as weak as a Swarm Red Bloon.
  • Likewise, if you want to disrupt the opponent's Hero Protection, send a weak bloon in the front of the queue if the other bloons have 1 delay or more.
• Badlands' map effect, Bloon Melter, Bloon Strike, and MOAB Strike bypass Hero Protection, as Hero Protection only prevents Bloon damage.
