A graveyard counter is added to the deck menu during a match since v6.0

A graveyard is a discard pile for cards in Bloons Card Storm. Each player has their own graveyard for cards they control, and cards in a player's graveyard are not visible to their opponent. A player can view how many cards are in their graveyard by pressing the deck icon in the bottom-left corner during a match, though it does not show what the individual cards are, unlike the player's hand. Each player's graveyard starts out empty, but cards automatically move to it under certain circumstances. Cards in a graveyard are ordered last in, first out. There are ways to remove a card from the board without it going to the player's graveyard or returning to the player's hand; cards in this state are "removed from the game" instead.[fn 1]

Bloon cards go to the controller's graveyard when they are destroyed (by popping or leaking), except Undead Bloons. Monkey cards go to the controller's graveyard when removed (by Bed Time, Amelia's Grand Disappearance ability, being Temporary or Doomed, etc), but not when replaced by playing another Monkey on its space. There is no way for Power cards to enter a graveyard; played Power cards simply disappear after resolving. There are several cards that depend on Bloons in the player's graveyard, but there are no game mechanics that depend on Monkeys in a graveyard.

While the graveyard mechanic existed since the Firstlook test, it was not visible or mentioned in-game until version 6.0, though it was mentioned in patch notes for prior updates.[1] Prior to version 6.0, the only cards with effects involving graveyards were Reinflated and The Prestige.
