Cluster Bombs provides widespread damage and significantly more total pierce for its rather low cost, with its only weakness being the lack of popping Black properties. Clumping Bloons is recommended via options like Ice to cover fast-moving Ceramics.

3-0 can be started off as a budget group-popping option, while the crosspaths can be added later on to improve coverage and attack speed. However, multiple 3-0 is sometimes more cost-efficient in the Flash version, compared to the multiplatform version, since Bigger Bombs gives more pierce in the latter version.
