Dragon's Breath is overpriced for both single-target damage and group-popping, while still getting overrun by dense Ceramic rushes, and not fast enough to reliably pop DDTs. Alternatives such as Bloonjitsu or large quantities of Triple Darts are preferred when Lead immunities are not a problem. However, Dragon's Breath is still usable in Monkey Teams in loadouts that otherwise lack reliable single-target damage.

Intense Magic doesn't affect the flames, while Lightning Bolt is optional for popping groups; if focusing on only single-target damage, not crosspathing is more cost-efficient.
