Rogue Legends is a rogue-lite adventure across a huge variety of Bloon infested maps.
Build your Monkey Party and make strategic reward choices at key steps to advance. Win and Buy Artifacts to boost your Party's power and defeat the Boss!— Rogue Legends | Coming Soon to Bloons TD 6![1]

Rogue Legends (or Rogue Legend)[3] is an upcoming DLC campaign for Bloons TD 6, to be introduced in version 47.0.[4] It is a "BTD rogue-lite adventure"[5] and the first of a series of DLC campaigns called Legends.[4] In this campaign, the player navigates a monkey on a tile grid with treasure chests, Bloons, campfires, merchants, and altars with Boss Bloons.[6] When the player encounters a Bloon, the game transitions to a short Bloons TD game, much like the tiles in Bloons Monkey City, during which the player uses their party's towers, Hero, and items called artifacts to clear all the rounds. As the player progresses, they unlock more towers and artifacts to add to their party.[7] The goal is to defeat a Boss Bloon
Rogue Legends will involve a Quest titled Rogue Legends Preview that gives "a glimpse of the Rogue Legends campaign",[8] and a unique music track.
Gameplay
The player begins a Rogue Legends campaign by selecting a Hero or Hero Skin, each of which comes with their own starter party. The player cannot place towers and powers freely and can only use their Insta Monkeys, which are not consumable but cost cash to place. They are cheaper to place than normal, but more expensive to upgrade.[9] The player progresses by navigating tiles on a hexagonal grid and enters a game when running into a Bloon Encounter (represented by a Red Bloon). During an encounter, the player can earn temporary items called boosts. Completing encounters earns items called tokens (represented by an icon of Geraldo's head) that can be spent on merchants. The player has five hearts (separate from lives and loses a heart each time they lose a tile. If the player runs out of hearts, the campaign ends with no option of continuing.[9]
There is an option for CHIMPS mode on the campaign menu.[7]
Parties
Parties are a set consisting of a Hero, Insta Monkeys, and artifacts. Each Hero has a unique starter party that includes two Insta Monkeys and one hero artifact, and Hero Skins can have different starter parties.

Artifacts
Artifacts are items that can be equipped during a campaign. All of them have beneficial effects, though some have negative effects as trade-offs, and some of them can add more Insta Monkeys to the player's party. The player starts their campaign with one artifact called a "hero artifact" that depends on the Hero or Hero Skin, and can choose up to three additional "permanent artifacts". Each permanent artifact appears to have a cost to equip in the starter party, and the player is limited to 9 cost in total. There are over 60 unique artifacts and upgraded versions.[7] They appear to come in at least three rarities: Common, Rare, and Legendary.
| Name | Description | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Home Brew Alchemy Common | Alchemist attack reload time and ability cooldowns are reduced 20% with a 1 in 20 chance to Crit for 50x damage. Adds a 1-0-1 Alchemist to your Party | |
| Cats Meow Rare | Maximum lives is set to 9, but any Bloon leaked only counts as 1 life regardless of RBE. Regenerate 3 lives at the end of each round | 6 |
| Fata Morgana Common | Mermonkey range, pierce, projectile livespan, and ability cooldown speed increased 25%. Mermonkey projectiles reflect off map borders. Adds a 0-1-1 Mermonkey to your Party | 3 |
| Full Broadside Legendary | Monkey Buccaneers can store up to 3 ability charges, and pierce and ability cooldown rate increased 70%. Adds a 0-2-0 Buccaneer to your Party | 9 |
| One Shot Rare | Sniper Monkeys attack 3x slower, but have a 1 in 5 chance to Crit for 7x damage. Adds a 2-1-0 Sniper Monkey to your Party | 6 |
| Starting Strong Common | For the first 20s of each round, Monkeys attack 15% faster | 3 |
| Unification Rare | Primary Monkeys now count as all Monkey categories. Primary Monkey attack range reduced 10% | |
| Zig Then Zag Common | All Military Monkeys shoot in a Zig Zag pattern. Projectiles move 20% slower, but attack speed is 20% faster | 3 |
Boosts
Boosts are temporary items that can be bought with cash during an encounter. When buying a boost, the player can choose one of three items, or spend cash to reroll them. Boosts can be Insta Monkeys, Powers (including the Cave Monkey and Portable Lake), or artifacts. Boost powers cost cash to place instead of Monkey Money.[7]
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Primary Quickening Common | Reduces Primary Monkeys attack reload and ability cooldown 10%, and projectiles travel 20% faster |
| Magic Quickening Common | Reduces Magic Monkeys attack reload and ability cooldown 10%, and projectiles travel 20% faster |
| All Tower Precision Common | Increases all Monkeys damage 8%, and shot spread reduced 5% |
| All Tower Precision Rare | Increases all Monkeys damage 10%, and shot spread reduced 7% |
