Frag Bomb Shooter is a Primary Monkey card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. When it attacks, it deals splash damage to Bloons adjacent to the target.

- Unlike most other Bomb Shooters, which focus on single targets and removing Armor, the Frag Bomb Shooter is most effective against large groups of Bloons.
- Similar to Bionic Boomerang, this card is a strong source of burst damage that can shut down aggro and tempo setups in the early-mid game. The 1 extra Gold cost, however, makes it a tad harder to afford in aggro loadouts.
- Frag Bomb Shooter for 2 Gold cheaper has the same DPT and burst damage as Super Monkey. It can be used vs Aggro or Tempo as its damage is high enough to work well even against higher health threats.
- The Frag Bomb Shooter's Splash Damage and high Ammo means it synergizes very well with Attack Power buffs, like Zee Jay's Rad Enhancements. Frag Bomb Shooter has the second highest buffing potential in the game, with each buff granting 9x what the buff provides. The only Monkey that has higher damage is Even More Tacks, which cannot manually attack and must spend lots of gold.

Development
A significant rework to Frag Bomb Shooter in Version 6.4 has removed its massive synergy with all ATK buffs, something that no other Monkey could match for grouped damage, bringing its base benefit from 9× to 6× at max, but this is not without buffing other ATK buffing sources.[1] This rework was done to also rebalance it versus Zee Jay's synergies.[1] Community testing still felt the new Frag Bomb Shooter was strong, just not dominant.[1]
