- Elite Defender is usually better when kept on full Ammo to maximize its damage against leaking high-HP bloons, however its basic shots could be helpful to do minor damage.
- Compared to Tack Sprayer, Elite Defender has 1 extra ammo, has the same ATK when Defender is active but less Defender bonus, and costs 3 Gold more.
- Like Tack Sprayer, Elite Defender on Defender can two-shot a Pink outside of Dark Castle.
