Version 48.0

Heroic Edge is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 48.0. It grants Heroes a 10% chance to release three homing swords that seek out and damage Bloons, dealing Shatter-type damage. Despite the wording referencing projectiles expiring, this artifact still functions with heroes lacking traditional projectiles such as Sauda or Psi. The sword damage increases with the Artifact's rarity. It also grants a pierce bonus to non-Hero Monkeys of +25% at all rarities despite what the Artifact descriptions say. The swords can re-hit Bloons after 0.5 seconds and cannot hit Camo Bloons unless its parent tower has Camo detection.

The swords from Heroic Edge are cleared at the end of the round and use Adora's seeking mechanics for one second after spawning before moving on a straight line afterwards.
Tips
- This Artifact is used in the early game when the player either has to catch any stray Bloons that escape the main defense or to give the Hero a way to pop Bloons normally immune to their regular attacks (e.g. Captain Churchill when his Armor Piercing Shells ability is not active) if an Monkey Intelligence Bureau or similar is unavailable. In the lategame or endless CHIMPS campaigns, the swords that spawn from the projectiles do not contribute much due to the MOAB-Class Bloons and Super Ceramics processing a lot of HP and is mainly a pierce buff artifact.
- To maximize the effectiveness of the Artifact, attack speed buff for the Hero should be prioritized in order to increase the sword spawn frequency. Towers such as Overclock or artifacts like Heroic Specialty to access other Monkey categories specific buff like Quickening are recommended options.
- The general pierce buff to all towers is useful on things such as Spike Factory, which converts it to an equivalent of extra damage, as well as improving effectiveness against groups. Because this Artifact is bugged to give the same pierce bonus regardless of rarity, there is no need to enhance this Artifact if the sole purpose of the Artifact is just the pierce buff.
