Avalanche is an Exotic Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. While held in the hand, the owner's Hero takes damage equal to 5 times the current Phase number at the start of each turn, for up to 20 damage per card (Phase 4). It does nothing when played other than removing itself from the hand. This card is exclusive to Dreadbloon and is not found in the Collection. Avalanche can be created by Echoes of Avalanche and Stage 2 Dreadbloon.
Despite being an Exotic, using this card does not count for Quest progress.
The card artwork depicts Quincy getting surprised by falling rocks near a cliff. Dreadbloon is in the background, hidden in white fog.
Tips
- It is not possible to prevent Avalanches from entering your hand unless it's full. If not full, they'll threaten your Hero's HP.
- There are higher chances of drawing this card when more of your original cards are consumed. Keep your hand relatively full, spend Avalanches if possible (especially in later stages, which deal more damage), and have life healing to offset damage.
- Because Dreadbloon inevitably draws Avalanches each round, it's practically not possible to lose by decking out.
- If Dreadbloon doesn't have Repercussions, Jungle's Bounty Druid is a reliable way to heal lost lives, and the constant Avalanches stop the player from not spending.
