Bomb Shooter is a Primary Monkey card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. When it attacks, it removes armor from the target before dealing damage.

Bomb Bloons can generate Bomb Shooter cards during a match.

Tips

• Bomb Shooter has very high damage but a high reload. It's also the cheapest Monkey that has Armor Piercing.
• It notably has enough Attack Power to pop Rock Bloons, even if Armored, and can be a cheap candidate for Parting Gift.
  • It can still one-shot Rocks with one Fearful Aura active, though this is diminished with Stage 3 Dreadbloon ("Removal").
• Bomb Shooter is at its best against enemy Bloons that need to be popped urgently, such as Double Bloons or Steady Growth Bloon. Outside of Dark Castle, it also does enough damage to pop the Blooming Bloon, Lead Coating Bloon, or Clever Lead Bloon, assuming no Zee Jay passive or other HP buffs.
• Bomb Shooter is best used for its high burst damage instead of long-term damage, as its low 26.67 DPT means it is difficult to sustain with it against repeated or stronger rushes. As this card can be given to you via the use of Bomb Bloon, it is recommended to use those for most decks.
• In Dreadbloon battles, Bomb Shooter is best equipped in the form of Bomb Bloon, but as a card in a deck it can be used to substitute Missile Launcher if the latter is banned.
• As one of the highest ATK Monkeys without scaling, Bomb Shooters can act as cheap protection against effects of the passive ATK reductions from Stage 3 Dreadbloon ("Board Destruction").

Development

Bomb Shooter was teased in Ninja Kiwi's April 10th 2025 Dev Diary on r/bloonscardstorm.

Ninja Kiwi proposed a rework to Bomb Shooter in Version 5.2 by reducing its ATK from 75 to 55 but delay from 3 to 2. However, community feedback only proposed to increase its ATK to 80, which was approved for the update.
