The Banana Farm is a Supporttower in Bloons TD 6. It does not attack, and instead generates collectible bunches of bananas within its range that are converted to cash when harvested. It generates 4 bunches of bananas each round, each worth $20, for a total of $80 per round. Uncollected bananas spoil and disappear after 15 seconds.
It can be upgraded to create valuable banana crates, store generated money and add interest rates, or immediately cashing in the money. Each path progressively increases the amount of money generated.
With no upgrades, the Banana Farm produces 4 bananas each round at each 1/4th of the round which are worth $20 each. Upgrades and buffs which Increase the amount of bananas will decrease the amount of time between bananas. Note that short rounds (such as rounds 40, 60 and 80) will cause all the bananas to be produced near instantly, and that the bottom path (Marketplace, Central Market and Monkey Wall Street) will generate money in the same way, just without any visible bananas.
The Banana Farm does not have a stats article yet.
Related Monkey Knowledge
A list of Monkey Knowledge that are specific to the Banana Farm. Does not include Monkey Knowledge that are specific to the Support class or all towers.
There are no starter parties that include this tower directly. The following starter parties implicitly include this tower (or another instance of this tower) because their starting Artifact adds this tower to the party:
Tier 3 and higher Bomb Shooter, Mortar, Ice Monkey, Glue Gunner & Banana Farm attacks have a chance to release swarms of fish each dealing 1 damage to 2 Bloons
Tier 3 and higher Bomb Shooter, Mortar, Ice Monkey, Glue Gunner & Banana Farm attacks have a chance to release swarms of fish each dealing 2 damage to 3 Bloons
Tier 3 and higher Bomb Shooter, Mortar, Ice Monkey, Glue Gunner & Banana Farm attacks have a chance to release swarms of fish each dealing 4 damage to 4 Bloons
Banana Farms bought early will profit later on. Once the defenses can reasonably handle bloons on its own, save money to buy a Banana Farm. Keep collecting bananas, so the extra money can be bought for more Farms, or upgrade existing Farms. It is more efficient to upgrade existing Farms to Increased Production (1-0-0) and Greater Production (2-0-0) before placing new Farms. At the same time, avoid over-farming, or else the Bloons may overrun the defenses.
The typical route of farming with Banana Farms for purposes of maximizing income in the early-game:
Buy a 0-0-0 Farm
Upgrade first Farm to 1-0-0, then upgrade it to 2-0-0
Buy another 0-0-0 Farm
Upgrade second Farm to 1-0-0, then upgrade it to 2-0-0
Upgrade one to 2-2-0, then the other to 2-0-2
When you have around $1k, sell the 2-0-2
Upgrade the 2-2-0 to 2-3-0
Buy some more 2-0-0 farms if you'd like
When you want to sell the 2-0-0 farms, upgrade them to 2-0-2 first to get extra sellback
During the mid-game, starting at around rounds 50-60, the main goal should be to get a Banana Central as soon as possible. It generates several times the amount Banana Research Facilities do and make them generate more money. The fastest way to get it is usually to have 2-3 BRF's, then place several 0-2-3 Marketplaces around a Favored Trades to generate some money for a few rounds, then sell the farms first and then the boat to get the Banana Central, which should always be a 5-2-0, as well as all BRF's should be 4-2-0's.
After getting the Banana Central, fill the map with BRF's and 1-0-4 Monkey Cities to give them 20% more money. If you want even more money at the cost of having to do a lot more work, you can get a 0-4-0 Overclock for every farm and a 0-5-0 Ultraboost for the Banana Central. It's important to note, however, that if you're playing on a map with a lot of water, you may want to place a x-x-5 Trade Empire and up to 20 x-x-4 Favored Trades for end of round income. You'll also want to replace 10 BRF's with 0-2-4 Central Markets, as each one increases Merchantman by 10%, up to 100%. If needed, you can upgrade one of the Central Markets into a 0-2-5 Monkey Wall Street for another $4000 at the end of every round, as well as acting like a Banana Farmer.
Additional tips when using the Banana Farm:
The 3-0-0 Banana Plantation is actually less cost efficient than the 2-0-0 Greater Production. Always get Valuable Bananas if you purchase the Banana Plantation upgrade.
Long Life Bananas and EZ Collect while mostly used for convenience, the former can be upgraded to Valuable Bananas for additional value per banana and the latter can also be upgraded to Banana Salvage, which adds extra sellback to farms making it useful if you buy a bunch of 2-0-0 farms and want to sell them for a big purchase.
