Striker Jones is a Hero in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 4.0. He can be unlocked from the Store by purchasing him for
2,000 Monkey Money or by purchasing the Striker Hero Bundle or Striker Mega bundle for real money.
Striker Jones focuses on defensive play. He generates Bloontonium from the opponent playing Bloons (at the cost of generating less from the player playing their own Bloons), which he can use to deal splash damage to Bloons and grant Monkeys additional Ammo. His exclusive cards synergize with Military Monkeys and Bomb Shooters.
- Target Focus − Passively generates one Bloontonium each time the opponent plays a Bloon, but the player gains two less Bloontonium from playing their own Bloons. Does not include Bloons from the Storm.
- Concussive Shell — Deals 50 damage to a target Bloon and 50 damage to any Bloons adjacent to it on the opponent's Bloon track.
- Ammo Stores — Passively grants all the player's Monkeys +1 Temporary Ammo each time they reload, including from card effects like Quick Reload.

Striker Jones is mainly geared for control decks that focus on Military Monkeys and/or Bomb Shooters. Until he reaches Ammo Stores, which forms the majority of his power, he is weak. Concussive Shell is very inefficient damage for the cost, and waiting for the opponent to send many bloons for free Bloontonium is unreliable. In theory he is powerful, but in practice he's too slow to reach max Bloontonium, yet still weak to OTK compared to Obyn Greenfoot, which is why most players consider him one of the worst Heroes in the game.
His early-game is weak, and is not suitable for or against aggro. Midrange decks are okay with Striker Jones if focusing on controlling the opponent's Bloons until a Quick Ready wincon is open. For control decks, he can be stronger than passive Obyn Greenfoot decks, but the downtime of most Militaries and Bombs can be a deal-breaker.
However, one mode that Striker Jones stands out is Boss Battle. Against Dreadbloon, he consistently gains Bloontonium each round, has many cards that assist Bomb+Military loadouts, and the bonus temporary ammo at max Bloontonium will almost always be useful each round. Simply survive early-game as normal, and his late-game benefits become very valuable for pure damage. He lacks healing or shields, but healing cards such as Clever Yellow Bloon and Jungle's Bounty Druid compensate this.
Striker Jones' cards are important for his decks. Orders Received is an important card for all Military and/or Bomb decks, as is Artillery Command. War Bonds can help afford expensive Monkeys and combos if cheap Military Monkeys were placed prior.
Tips
- Striker Jones' passive Bloontonium gains from opponent can be ignored for most situations, but not if Striker Jones approaches his final ability.
- If gaining not enough Bloontonium from your own Bloons is a problem, Ability Ban can be used to temporarily turn off his passive ability.
- Having a variety of Military Monkeys and Bomb Shooters is helpful with Striker Jones.
- Bloontonium generation is not reduced from Monkeys or Powers. Thus, Bloontonium-generating Monkeys can be a great addition to his deck.
