The editor who added this notice elaborates: Determine which encounters are no longer available upon triggering the final section of the story and also after beating it (Elite).

Bloon Encounters are the scenarios in which the player fights Bloons in the Frontier Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. There are two main types of Bloon Encounters: Story, which the player is required to complete in a specific order to progress the story; and Side Mission, which are optional. Each Bloon Encounter uses a specifc map, and some Bloon Encounters have Boss Bloons. Completing Bloon Encounters earns Bananite.

Mechanics

Each Bloon Encounter can be played in four modes:

  • First time: Self-explanatory, this applies for both Story and Side Missions. This mode can only be beaten once per campaign.
  • Replay: After beating the map for the first time, players can try again the map with a set of later rounds. Bananite rewards are reduced in this mode.
  • Elite: This mode is only unlocked after beating the main story, it plays in even later rounds with greatly increased rewards, it is applied to all maps in the DLC, regardless if it was beaten during the story line.
  • Elite Replay: Beating the Elite version gives a "black border" for the map, but this version is identical to Elite.

There are three different sets of rounds in Frontier Legends, and each map uses one of the three, which remains the same across the three modes, with the only change being the start and end rounds. Bananite is granted at the end of every round, but at a lower amount compared to the base game. If the player exits the game, upon return it will resume at the last round cleared, this prevents players from obtaining the same end of round cash multiple times. The multiplier and total amount of Bananite earned is presented in the table.

Bloon Reinforcements are taken from one of three different set of rounds, and the game is programmed to add a specific round of these reinforcement sets at the end of a regular round. The roundset number, regular round and the reinforcement round to spawn are indicated on each table, and are different for each mode. For example if the table indicates "Reinforcement set 2, Round 27: 18" it means that at the end of Round 27 and before Round 28 starts of the game will spawn the Round 18 of the Reinforcement set 2.

Finally if there are any story Towers in the map (such as Drik or Hazel), they will also be listed in the table, including upgrades and applied traits. For Boss Bloon encounters, First Time and Replay face the Normal version of the Boss, while the Elite encounter is against the Elite Boss.

  • Max monkeys: Default
  • Starting cash: Current amount of Bananite
  • Starting lives: Current amount
  • Monkey Knowledge disabled
  • Only powers purchased in the General Store are allowed
  • No continues
  • Double Cash disabled
  • Fast Track disabled
  • Paragon limit: 0
  • No round 100 reward
  • Cash per pop multiplier: 0×
  • Cash generated by towers multiplier: 0×
  • All Towers and Heroes available

Any other challenge rule is indicated in the table and is the same for any mode.
