Tips
[edit | edit source]| This article or section needs cleanup to improve the way it presents information and/or comply with the style guide. You can help out by editing this article. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Restructure into a bullet point list per the strategy guidelines |
This artifact provides great synergy with Snowstorm, Absolute Zero and Popseidon as their abilities can freeze all MOAB-Class Bloons on the map, except BADs (Snowstorm requires MIB support to hit DDTs), giving a global source of burst damage. Icicle Impale can also be used to freeze Bloons in a local scale.
Outside of the synergy with the towers mentioned before, this artifact doesn't provide much utility as many other sources of the freeze status effect are inferior as they cannot freeze MOAB-Class Bloons, this includes the rest of the Ice Monkey upgrades, Ball Lightning Druids, Tidal Chill Mermonkeys, Sentry Expert Engineers or Military Monkeys with the Cold Steel Artifact, limiting their utility to Ceramic Bloons and lower which might be sometimes useful during the early game.
Playes should also make sure the towers that are intended to take advantage of this boost are able to hit frozen Bloons in the first place, Spike Factories need White Hot Spikes, Oversize Nails or Sentry Expert for Engineer Monkeys and the companions of Beast Handlers need to be at least Great White or Adasaurus to damage them.
