Zig Then Zag is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the attack speed of Military Monkeys, but in exchange they move slower in a Zig Zag pattern, making them more likely to miss their targets. The Common version of the artifact reduces the attack cooldown by 11%, Rare reduces 15% and Legendary 30%, resulting in an attack speed increase of 12%, 18% and 43%, respectively. Also projectiles can move up to 15 units from a straight line at a speed of 4 units/s and their speed is reduced 20%.
Tips
edit| This article or section needs cleanup to improve the way it presents information and/or comply with the style guide. You can help out by editing this article. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Restructure into a bullet point list per the strategy guidelines |
For the most part, the zigzag movement can be ignored. Sniper Monkey, Mortars, and Heli Pilots (to a lesser extent) can effectively ignore both the zigzag movement and projectile speed penalties due to how the former two attack, and how close they usually are for the latter. However caution is advised if it is used in combination with Discord and/or BB Gatling Gun on Dartling Gunners, Monkey Subs or Monkey Buccaneer as the combined effects can make their projectiles outright miss the Bloons most of the time. As the game progresses, the drawback of the Artifact is lessened thanks to the presence of MOAB-Class Bloons and their larger hitboxes.
