Shrink is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm. It replaces a target Monkey on either player's side with a Baby Monkey.

Tips

• Unlike Bed Time, the cheaper and less rare alternative, Shrink has no restriction for neutralising an opponent's Monkey.
  • Good candidates for Monkeys outside of Bed Time range include: Super Monkey, most Monkeys that can ramp up their Attack Power (e.g. high-powered Wizard Monkeys, Spike-o-Pult, Sun Temple), Dire Wolf, high-damage Defenders (such as Elite Defender), and most Ultra Rares.
  • If bad luck cannot draw a Bed Time, Shrink might be worth it against a Monkey regardless. Examples include: Jungle's Bounty Druid, Prince of Darkness.
• The Baby Monkey generated still takes up a Monkey slot, which prevents the opponent from moving the player's Monkeys to their side with Expert Negotiator, unless they first free up their own Monkey slot with cards (e.g. Return to Sender or Favored Trade) or Adora's sacrifice. Likewise, the Baby Monkey could interrupt Monkeys that depend on positioning, such as Monkey Village.
  • On the other hand, a Baby Monkey still counts as a Monkey, so it'd still be a fodder for Adora's Ultimate Sacrifice or Total Transformation Monkey.
• Shrink can be used to waste a boosted Monkey; it is a counter to monkey-buffing Power cards such as Try this!.
  • If suspecting a Shrink, spread boosts across multiple Monkeys, and don't always buff the strongest Monkey.
• Computer opponents using Shrink always target the most expensive enemy Monkey. You can use this behavior to alter which Monkeys will get removed first.
