Introduced Version 47.0

Primary Specialist is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the attack and ability cooldown of Primary Monkeys, but in exchange it increases the ability cooldown and reduces the pierce of non-Primary towers. The attack and ability cooldown is reduced by −20% for the Rare rarity and −35% for Legendary, resulting in a total a total attack speed increase of +25% and +53%, respectively. This artifact does not have a Common version.

If a tower is counted as Primary and another category simultaneously, using Artifacts like Essence Of Dreadbloon, Unification, or similar, it receives the attack / ability speed increase and also gets both ablility cooldown and pierce penalties[1]. The total ability cooldown multiplier for such towers is 0.92× and 0.7475×, depending on the Artifact rarity, resulting in abilities being recharged 9% and 34% faster.

This article was last updated for: version 51.2

This Artifact provides one of the largest attack speed boosts to Primary towers with a negligible penalty to the rest of the towers, so it is always a recommended pick if there are Primary towers in the Party. For particular synergies see Greater Primary Quickening#Strategy.

    • Note: Description of other rarities changed accordingly, attack speed penalty remains the same but now lists the attack speed decrease rather than the attack cooldown
