Get to the Chopper is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 48.0. It allows Support Chinooks and Special Poperations to store up to 3 charges of all of their abilities per tower. Once the ability is recharged, this Artifact restarts the cooldown timer in the background and will grant an extra use of the ability when it is completed, showing as if the player had multiple towers with the same ability. If the player has the Ability Stacking Artifact, the amount of charges will stack.
The Artifact also grants a pierce and a ability cooldown bonus to all Heli Pilots, which increases with the rarity of the artifact, also adds a 0-3-0 / 0-4-0 Heli Pilot to the Party.

The Rare and Legendary versions of the Artifact convert Support Chinooks and Special Poperations on one of the best farming methods on Rogue Legends towards the middle and end stages of the campaign. The reduced ability cooldowns in addition to the relatively long duration of rounds allows using the Supply Crate ability up to its maximum of 2 uses per rounds consistently, and even if the rounds are stalled, the extra time can be used to store ability charges to be used as soon the next round begins.
Also, if using Special Poperations, the extra charges can be stored during easier rounds to quickly deploy extra Monkey Marines when they are most needed. The extra charges on the Reposition abilities have a much more niche use case, like moving several towers in quick succession on maps with alternate lanes (e.g. X Factor of Muddy Puddles) or moving an important tower around the map without being limited by the ability cooldown, like a Hero on a One Monkey Army run.
The Common version of the variant has less versatility as it only comes with a 0-3-0 Downdraft, so it can't benefit from the ability benefits right away as the Support Chinook is a relatively expensive upgrade. However, the pierce bonus remains as a great benefit for Downdraft effect and for the attacks of top path Heli Pilots. Players must also be aware the pierce of the MOAB Shove effect cannot be buffed, so it only affects the main weapons of the bottom path.
Unfortunately Support Chinooks can cause high amounts of lag when combined with a high amount of stat boosts which makes it not ideal for Endless CHIMPS campaigns despite its benefits.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The name of this Artifact is a reference to the 1987 film Predator, where the character Major Alan “Dutch” Schaeferd (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) screams the iconic phrase "Get to the chopper!" to “Anna” during the helicopter evacuation scene.
