Strategy

edit

The Sun God with its multiple high-pierce beams is more dedicated towards grouped popping as opposed to the Robo Monkey's single target damage with higher attack speed plasma. If one can survive the expensive saveup towards it, it offers potent crowd control and packed MOAB clearing, useful for strategies otherwise weak to clusters of MOABs and Ceramics, like Destroyer spam. Use Banana Farms or a Monkey Town to afford it faster in order to survive. Discounts from Monkey Village to save money on earlier upgrades are also recommended. Range crosspaths are useful so the Sun God can cover more track.

An Overclock (and Jungle Drums on the multiplatform version) can be used to improve its attack speed, mitigating the Sun God's only weakness and making it a formidable carry tower combo for tile capturing. It remains a useful strategy even on terrain with heavy restrictions, like Badlands Terrain and Mountain Terrain.

Trivia

edit
